1. What Information Does Bulletinmap Collect on The Platform?
Establishing an Account: Users may create an account by providing their email and an account password. Users’ email address may be used to subscribe to its newsletters, verify account status, to respond to any questions about our Platform and Services, or to reset a User’s password. You may unsubscribe from newsletters at any time. Your email may also be used to (i) provide information regarding our services; (ii) communicate material changes to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy; and/or (iii) help us maintain and improve Services offered.
User Profile/Platform Posts: Users may also create a business or personal page to share local information with other users, and, at their discretion, input their name, address, business name, email, phone, business-related information, images and other User Generated Content to be viewed by other Users on the Platform. Users may also be required to verify the address profiled on their account.
Geolocation Data: Bulletinmap collects geolocation data through any zip code or address entered by the User.
Cookies: Bulletinmap utilizes cookie technology to gather information on Internet use in order to serve you more effectively. Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and transferred to your device. You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies; however, some Platform features or Services may not work properly without cookies.
How You Can Control Advertising Cookies: Bulletinmap may utilize various services to place relevant and targeted ads on its Platform. You can manage cookies used for online advertising via the consumer choice tools created under self-regulation programs, such as the US-based aboutads.info choices page or the EU-based Your Online Choices.
2. Is Information Collected by or Disclosed to Third Parties?
Bulletinmap does not sell the data collected through your use of the Platform to any third party. Information is collected to facilitate the Services offered or for internal analysis relating to product improvements. Information collected is shared with the following third parties to facilitate provision of the Services on the Platform as follows:
Google Analytics: Bulletinmap utilizes Google Analytics to access anonymous data to help us understand how our Services are used. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps Bulletinmap understand how users engage with the Platform, so that we can review and improve our Services. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It provides a report to Bulletinmap with website trends without identifying individual visitors. Usage is tracked using Google Analytics in accordance with their Privacy Policy. If you do not want your data to be used by Google Analytics, you may opt-out by installing Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Geolocation & Address Verification: Bulletinmap has integrated Google API to incorporate Google Maps and to utilize geolocation in connection with the Services. Information is collected in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Bulletinmap may also integrate the SmartyStreets address verification API. SmartyStreets will collect and process information in accordance with the SmartyStreets' Privacy Policy.
Credit or Debit Card Information: In the future, we may present you the option to purchase goods or services through a third-party payment processor. If you choose to make such a purchase, we may share your information with the payment processor as necessary to conclude the transaction, as well as with the company or person you’re buying from. To the extent payment processing is offered on the Platform, Bulletinmap will not itself store debit or credit card information on its servers. To the extent offered, information will be collected by a third party payment processor, PayPal, to manage and process payments in order to guarantee the security of your information. Users should review the PayPal Privacy Policy for more information on their data collection practices.
Third Party Advertising: We use your personally-identifiable information to provide you with products, services, and information, including more relevant search results and advertising and to make sharing with others quicker and easier, while enabling you to maintain control of that sharing. We may share your personally-identifiable information with third parties in some situations, such as if you decide to communicate with a company that advertises through our application.
Other Potential Third Party Disclosures: Information may also be disclosed to third parties (i) as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process; (ii) when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request, or (ii) if Bulletinmap is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets.
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify users (i) about law enforcement or court ordered requests for data unless otherwise prohibited by law, or (ii) if your personal information is to be disclosed or transferred and/or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
3. How Does Bulletinmap Comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act?
Only persons age 18 or older are authorized to create a Bulletinmap account. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 without parental consent. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact help@bulletinmap.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
4. How Is Information Collected and Retained?
We store all customer data on GlobalHost in South Korea.
Bulletinmap will retain account data and content for a commercially reasonable time and as we deem necessary to provide our services to our users. In addition, publicly available content will continue to remain publicly available as we deem commercially necessary. 5. What is Bulletinmap’s Security Policy?
We have implemented reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, destruction or alteration. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our Platform. However, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can ever be 100% secure.
6. How Does Bulletinmap Respond to “Do Not Track” Signals?
“Do Not Track” is a feature enabled on some browsers that sends a signal to request that a web application disable its tracking. At present, Bulletinmap does not respond to or alter its practices when a Do Not Track signal is received.
7. Rights to Erasure and Termination

By User: Users can terminate and/or deactivate their account at any time by contacting Bulletinmap help@bulletinmap.com. User Generated Content, including Reviews and Communications, may continue to be available on the Platform and accessible to the public and other Users notwithstanding a User’s deactivation of their account.
By Bulletinmap: Bulletinmap may temporarily suspend or terminate your account and the Services at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any or no reason, including, but not limited to, if Bulletinmap:
- Suspects a breach of these Terms of Service;
- Is unable to verify or authenticate account information;
- Believes that you are acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit of Bulletinmap's policies, have engaged in improper or fraudulent activity in connection with the Platform or that your actions may cause legal liability or financial loss to Bulletinmap; or
- Believes you are infringing the rights of third parties.
Survival: The following Sections survive termination of these Terms of Service: Feedback License, License, User Generated Content License, Individual Arbitration, Disclaimers and Exclusions, Release, Indemnification, and Governing Law.
8. How Will I Be Notified of Changes to Your Privacy Policy?
If Bulletinmap makes material changes to its Privacy Policy, it will notify you either by: (i) changing the Effective Date at the top of the Privacy Policy, (ii) sending an email to its account holders, and/or (iii) adding a statement to the Platform.
You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
